Dr. Glenn Forrester
A graduate of Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island with a bachelor’s degree in biology, Dr. Forrester earned his medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies. Afterward, he completed a six-year surgical residency at the combined program of Our Lady of Mercy and Lincoln Medical Centers in the Bronx, NY.
Dr. Angela Jack Glasnapp
Dr. Angela Jack Glasnapp is co-director of Bariatric Surgery at CarePoint Health Christ Hospital in Jersey City, NJ. A board certified general surgeon with specialty training in bariatric surgery and advanced minimally invasive surgery, Dr. Glasnapp earned her medical degree from New York Medical College in Valhalla, NY, and then completed her residency training at St. Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center in Greenwich Village, NY.
Dr. James Buwen
Dr. James Buwen is a board certified general surgeon with specialty training in bariatric surgery and advanced minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Buwen graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University, College of Osteopathic Medicine, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. He completed his residency training at Rowan University-SOM, Stratford, NJ, Kennedy University Hospital/Our Lady Of Lourdes Hospital, serving as Chief Surgical Resident from 2013 to 2014.
Samah Morsy, PA-C
Physician Assistant Samah Morsy provides clinical counseling for our bariatric surgery and medical weight loss patients in our Springfield location. She has experience in primary care medicine and weight management. She is well-trained in the associated co-morbidities of obesity including hypertension, diabetes mellitus and cardiac disease.
