Do you have a delicious summertime recipe to share that’s bariatric-friendly? If so, we want to hear from you!
Starting July 8th, each week our registered dietitians will review a recipe submitted to determine if it’s “Healthy or Not?” They’ll take a look at the nutritional content, and offer suggestions, if needed, so it fits into a bariatric-friendly diet. Every Friday, we will share a nutritionist reviewed recipe on Facebook, Twitter and our blog for everyone to try.
Send us your go-to summertime favorite recipe. This is your chance to show off your skills in the kitchen and how you’re incorporating healthy dishes into your daily diet.
How to have your favorite recipe reviewed:
1. Prepare your favorite healthy summer recipe and take lots of pictures of it before you serve it.
2. Send your recipe to Taylor at firstname.lastname@example.org. Include your name, name of recipe, ingredients, cooking instructions and at least two pictures you can snap with your phone and email to us. Please make sure the ingredients and instructions are clearly written out with no abbreviations.
3. Share as many recipes as you would like, but remember, we only highlight one per week.
4. Last day to submit for review is Friday, August 24, 2018.
