What Am I Eating? Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Thins

When you’re trying to avoid the extra carbohydrates from bread but a lettuce wrap isn’t cutting it, finding a healthy substitute isn’t always easy.  I recently found these Cauliflower Thins from Trader Joe’s and they have 100 calories, 5 grams of fat, 3 grams of carbohydrates, 2 grams of fiber, and 9 grams of protein.  The 9 grams of protein is an added bonus that you won’t find in bread or even lettuce. I had my doubts about taste, but they’re actually really good and go well as a sandwich. When you use two slices in place of bread, add on 2-3 ounces of lean meat and a slice of low fat cheese you could potentially have 30-40 grams of protein in your sandwich which is a win win. Give it a try and let me know what you think.
