I recently found this new plant-based meal that’s high protein at my local Whole Foods. It’s a Green Chickpea Superfood Bowl from Vana Life Foods and it’s jam packed with fiber to keep you full and satisfied. Not only is it nutritious, it is also quick and easy to eat healthy on the go. I just open and microwave/heat the pouch for 90 seconds before eating. There are a lot of different flavors Vana Life Foods offer. The flavors include Kale + Potato, Chipotle Black Bean, Coconut Butternut Squash and Coconut Lime. I tried the Coconut Lime and thought it was very flavorful. The ingredients include green chickpeas, coconut, red peppers, sweet potato, lime and cilantro. I added grilled, extra firm tofu on the side making this plant based meal even higher in protein. Similarly, you can add grilled chicken, shrimp, ground turkey or any protein of choice to make this a delicious, well-balanced meal.
