NJBC Eats: Holiday Chocolate Peppermint Protein Shake
Are you bored with your current protein shake? Since it’s the holidays, try spicing things up with this chocolate peppermint protein shake recipe to get you in the holiday spirit.
Ingredients:
- 1 scoop of chocolate protein powder (look for less than 10 grams of carbs, 20-40 grams of protein per serving)
- 1 cup of milk or water (may use skim or 1% milk, unsweetened almond milk, or Fairlife Ultra-Filtered Milk)
- ¼ tsp of peppermint extract or 5 drops of Peppermint Sweetleaf Sweet Drops (or to taste)
- Ice
Instructions:
Blend all ingredients until smooth and enjoy. For a special treat, top it off with a little whipped cream.
